Turns out that the official feed is ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/syndicated.gif?v=92.1) goats_comic and not goats_feed, a fact about which Phillip is a bit upset, it seems. (See the comments in the related news post on the site). The other feed is one that places the actual .gif on your friends page, available at goats_feed. Please, use goats_comic and NOT goats_feed. |

Here, I'll add something. A few weeks after moving to New York, I persuaded a friend to go to the Peculier Pub with me, just to see it for myself. The bar does indeed have a beer list that fills both sides of two pages in really tiny print, as well as the best jukebox I've found in the city so far. I ordered a draft beer because I haven't yet found directions on how to pour a hefe-weizen (help appreciated -- in Germany last summer they didn't serve it in bottles). The only drawbacks to the place are the pricey beers ($3.50 to $6 each, although I don't imagine I'll find much better in Manhattan) and the vapid waitress we had. Ambience and geeky boys abound. |

I decided this needed to be posted in. Although I can't think for the life of me what we would write about in a goats journal. I suppose we could offer random updates on whether or not the current strip is funny, but my virtue of being goats fans, we probably already think it's funny, and we probably already checked.
